Tri-City area and Alameda County

"Real transformation starts with being understood, not just housed."

Our Housing First, Transformation Always model pairs stability with trauma-informed, identity-centered support for transition-age youth ages 18 to 24. Pathways to Services Development is a California nonprofit in its build and development phase, working across Fremont, Newark, Union City, and surrounding Alameda County.

This model comes from what James has lived through, not from theory. He built it for the people who are still standing after everything tried to take them out.

“The system pulls support away right when someone finally decides to change. We are building what should have stayed in place — the structure, the partnerships, the follow-through.”James Gonzales, Founder & CEO
